Tell us which iPhone you have and what you were doing when the trouble started. If the app has its diagnostic log switched on, Settings has a Share button that sends the file with your message. The log is off until you turn it on, and nothing leaves your phone unless you send it.
The app writes NTAG213, NTAG215 and NTAG216 stickers, which are the common ones sold for NFC. It also prints QR and barcode labels, and reads them with the camera or a Bluetooth barcode scanner. Things with no tag at all work the same way, so you can start without buying anything.
A tag can be write protected with a password you choose. The password is kept in your iPhone's keychain and syncs through iCloud Keychain if you use it. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover one, because the app stores nothing about you to check anybody against. Write it down somewhere that is not your phone.
Everything is on your iPhone. The app makes a copy of your records once a day and keeps the last fourteen, and you can export one to Files or anywhere else you choose. Deleted items stay recoverable for thirty days.
